Capcom Unveils New Monster Hunter: Wilds x FF14 Collaboration Details at Tokyo Game Show on September 27

Capcom revealed new information about the previously teased Monster Hunter: Wilds collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV (FF14) at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) held today, September 27. The powerful collaborative “Omega Series” gear was unveiled first—let’s take an early look.

The new collaboration update will go live on September 29. A joint effort with Square Enix’s classic MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, the collaborative gear series has been confirmed as the “Omega Gear,” inspired by the monster “Omega Primalis.” Two types of weapons from this series have been revealed so far: the One-Handed Sword and the Insect Glaive.

To obtain armor of the same brand, players will need to take on the ultra-hard event quest “The Unending Coil of Bahamut: Omega Primalis Verification Battle.” Stay tuned for the quest’s launch.

Also unveiled alongside the Omega Gear is the “Dark Knight Series” armor.
