The PC version of Stellar Blade has officially launched and instantly topped trending charts. The game is currently receiving “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam, with a 97% positive rating and over 100,000 concurrent players.
Many might not grasp the significance of this figure—put simply, Stellar Blade has once again worked a miracle.
Recall that during its demo phase, Stellar Blade already hit an astonishing 26,000 concurrent players, propelling it to the top of Steam’s best-sellers chart across Asia and securing a spot among the global top three.
The current 100,000 concurrent players are merely the beginning—this number is expected to multiply several times over within the next three days.
On a side note, the PS5 version of Stellar Blade previously topped sales charts in over 60 countries and regions, reaching 3 million copies sold nearly a year after its release.
Launched alongside the PC version is a crossover DLC with the developer’s other title, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Players who progress the main story up to just before the orbital elevator can head to the Wasteland area, where they’ll find “Higan,” a character from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
Higan has already become the second most popular character in the game, even surpassing Raven in popularity—second only to Eve.
