The protagonist in the short film is an ordinary boy living in the fishing village of “Estad Island”, an isolated island surrounded by the sea. As the son of a fisherman, he lives a peaceful life day after day, but always holds infinite longing for the world on the other side of the ocean in his heart. This seemingly small curiosity will become the starting point that shakes the fate of the entire world. The game official also announced that the voice actor of the protagonist, Da Ling Gong, will inject soul into this young man with dreams.
Rather than calling it a ‘remake’, this work is more accurately positioned as a ‘reimagined’. It is not simply high-definition, but a complete remake of the classic works released on the first generation PlayStation platform in 2000, completely reconstructing the graphics, plot, and combat system.
