At the latest financial report conference of Kadokawa Group, “Elden Ring: Dark Lord’s Landing” was confirmed as an important source of revenue for the company, and its market performance “far exceeded initial expectations”.
The official also revealed that FromSoftware is developing the DLC content for the game and plans to officially release it by the end of March 2026.

It is worth noting that FromSoftware is currently simultaneously advancing the development of the DLC for “Dark Lord’s Landing” and the Switch 2 platform work “Twilight Bloodline”.
Although specific details of the DLC were not disclosed this time, it has been confirmed that the strategy of continuously updating game content will continue.
The “Late Night Mode” launched in September last year provides players with continuous challenges through a randomly generated Night Lord system. Subsequent updates have added the “Abyss Value” adjustment function and defeat rank protection mechanism, effectively reducing the risk cost for players to try new genres.

Kadokawa stated that he will continue to expand the IP value of “Elden Ring”, and the promotion of this DLC also confirms the company’s strategic layout for the long-term operation of the series.
With the clear release window in 2026, players can expect this best-selling work to bring more new content.
